Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance activities to ensure timely and efficient operations.
- Execute complex building repairs across various technical disciplines, including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing tasks.
- Manage and maintain production equipment, minimizing downtime and upholding organizational standards.
- Establish and implement preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
- Supervise and guide a team of mechanics and technicians in repair and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify repairs and safety hazards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of operational supplies.
- Coordinate with external building contractors as necessary.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and monitor ammonia cooling systems.
- Address various repair needs, including concrete floors, dock doors, lighting, plumbing, and more.
Qualifications:
- Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 4-6 years of relevant experience, including at least two years in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing trades, and five years in commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Experience leading teams or supervising staff.
- Preferred: Associate's degree in Business Management or a related technical field.
- 6-10 years of experience in trades and commercial HVAC/refrigeration within the foodservice industry.
- HVAC Technical Certification and Ammonia Refrigeration Training are advantageous.
