Due to continued business growth, increased production volumes, and ongoing investment in manufacturing operations, they are seeking experienced Machine Repair Technicians (Electrical) to join their maintenance team.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, uptime, and performance of highly automated manufacturing equipment. The successful candidate will support preventative maintenance activities, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems, and assist with the installation and commissioning of new production equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation-related equipment failures.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems including motors, drives, sensors, relays, contactors, PLC-controlled equipment, and power distribution systems.
  • Install, level, relocate, and commission new manufacturing equipment and production machinery.
  • Install and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems associated with manufacturing equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, technical manuals, and machine documentation.
  • Repair and replace components including motors, pumps, bearings, belts, conveyors, feeders, air cylinders, clutches, brakes, actuators, solenoids, robots, fixtures, and packaging equipment.
  • Assist Engineering and Production teams in identifying root causes of equipment failures and implementing long-term corrective actions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing equipment reliability, productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Accurately document maintenance activities, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks within the CMMS system.
  • Participate in equipment upgrades, retrofits, and automation improvement projects.
  • Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Automation, Health & Safety, and Continuous Improvement teams.
  • Ensure all equipment operates safely and that guarding, safety devices, and interlocks are functioning correctly.
  • Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform additional maintenance and facility support duties as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and related industrial maintenance experience.
  • Previous experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, Machine Repair Technician, Maintenance Electrician, Machine Builder, Automation Technician, Journeyman Electrician, or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting experience in industrial manufacturing facilities.
  • Experience working with 480V three-phase electrical systems is required.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair electrical control systems, motor controls, drives, sensors, and industrial automation equipment.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, machine guarding requirements, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Journeyman Electrician License, Journeyperson Certificate, Electrical Apprenticeship, or equivalent industrial electrical experience is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional maintenance team

Shift Schedule:          Various Shifts Available (1st, 2nd & 3rd)

Rate:                           $33.00 - $36.36 p/h D.O.E ($1.00 p/h premium for 2nd & 3rd shift)
