What You’ll Be Doing:

As part of the Site Safety, Hygiene, and Medical Services Team you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring a safe work environment at a top-tier manufacturing facility.  

  • Drive a zero-incident culture by engaging operators and reinforcing safe work practices.
  • Conduct field safety audits, including lockout/tagout, hot work, and confined space entry procedures.
  • Oversee SDS management and the Hazard Communication program.
  • Perform PPE evaluations, ergonomic assessments, and health risk monitoring.
  • Deliver engaging safety training programs for employees, including new hire and regulatory training.
  • Lead incident and near-miss investigations, root cause analyses, and follow-up corrective action.
  • Provide expert guidance on accident prevention, job safety analysis, hazard management, and compliance.
  • Analyze safety trends from observations, incidents, audits, and inspections.
  • Support contractor safety training and compliance initiatives.
  • Interface with regulatory agencies as needed
  • Team members to partner with and learn from include: Sr. Safety Engineer, Industrial Hygiene Specialist, Safety Manager (Fire Chief), and contracted medical staff.

What You’ll Bring to the Job:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of safety compliance experience in a manufacturing, chemical processing preferred.
  • Working toward CSP certification or willingness to obtain it.
  • Strong technical knowledge of OSHA, ANSI standards, and occupational safety compliance.
  • Occasional willingness to adjust schedules to support safety initiatives across shifts.
  • Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship now or in the future.

Note:  Having the minimum 2 years of experince probably correlates with the low end of the salary range in a company that offers mentorship and quick advancement along with the full relocation package. 

They will offer an experienced hire near  the upper end of this range.
