Ready to lead with purpose in one of the nation’s most vibrant cities? We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to take the clinical helm of our 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in New Orleans, Louisiana.

About the Role
As CNO, you’ll serve as a vital member of the hospital’s executive team—setting clinical standards, mentoring staff, and driving quality improvement across all nursing and clinical operations. You’ll be responsible for coordinating patient care services with a focus on safety, staff engagement, and regulatory excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead nursing operations and collaborate with other clinical and support departments to deliver outstanding patient care
- Promote progressive clinical excellence through staff development, scheduling, training, and mentorship
- Oversee safe staffing plans, clinical protocols, and compliance with all regulatory standards
- Serve as a resource, advisor, and visible leader to your nursing teams
- Partner closely with senior leadership to elevate engagement, retention, and clinical performance
- Align clinical care with best practices and national rehab standards
- Support the delivery of nursing care to patients with acute and complex medical needs
Required Qualifications
BSN required
MSN or equivalent (or enrollment in a Master’s program)
Current RN licensure (Louisiana or compact state)
BLS required on hire; ACLS within 6 months
1+ year of inpatient rehab hospital experience required (2+ preferred)
3–5 years of hospital nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
CRRN certification required once eligible
