Position Summary:

Join our team as a meticulous Accountant in Melville, where your skills will support our financial operations. This role involves executing key accounting tasks, aiding in financial reporting, and working closely with the controller to ensure accurate financial data management. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining the seamless execution of our accounting processes, delivering precise financial information promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and log monthly journal entries and complete account reconciliations.
• Analyze and develop supporting schedules for monthly and year-end financial closings.
• Oversee aging reports, manage vendor accounts, and ensure timely payments and invoicing processes.
• Conduct various account analyses and prepare necessary working papers.
• Effectively utilize our financial processing system (INFOR).
• Engage in special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong time management with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
