Join our dynamic healthcare IT team as an EPIC Medical Analyst, where you will play a vital role in enhancing patient care and optimizing clinical workflows through the Epic Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. We are seeking an experienced professional to configure, maintain, and support Epic modules, ensuring seamless integration and performance within our healthcare infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and troubleshoot Epic systems to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
- Business Analysis and Workflow Improvement: Analyze and refine current workflows, implementing Epic solutions to boost operational efficiency.
- User Training and Support: Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to users, addressing any inquiries and enhancing system utilization.
- Documentation and Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, training materials, and user guides. Use Epic's reporting tools to extract and analyze data for informed decision-making.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with clinical, IT, and administrative teams to meet system requirements and support smooth implementation processes.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct system testing and quality assurance to ensure updates and patches are implemented effectively.
- Process Improvement: Engage in projects aimed at improving process efficiency and accuracy within the healthcare setting.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare IT, with a focus on Epic module build and maintenance.
- Epic Certification in relevant modules such as EpicCare Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient, or Clinical Documentation is highly preferred.
Skills and Expertise:
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Technical proficiency in healthcare IT systems and troubleshooting.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Understanding of healthcare operations, clinical workflows, and data privacy regulations such as HIPAA.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with industry trends and advancements in Epic applications.
