The Role

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will take ownership of some of the most complex and business-critical systems in the product. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll help shape both technical architecture and product direction as the company grows.

You’ll work across the stack (approximately 70% backend / 30% frontend), leading design decisions for scalable, real-time systems while remaining deeply involved in day-to-day coding. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to turn ambiguous problems into reliable, elegant solutions that directly impact revenue and customer experience.

This role is ideal for senior engineers who thrive in fast-moving, product-driven environments and want meaningful ownership.

What You’ll Do

• Own and evolve large, business-critical systems end-to-end
• Design and implement scalable, real-time backend services (Node.js-heavy environment)
• Build and maintain high-quality frontend experiences using React and TypeScript
• Translate ambiguous product requirements into well-architected technical solutions
• Lead technical design discussions and make thoughtful tradeoffs around performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership
• Mentor teammates, raise engineering standards, and help shape best practices across the team
• Drive initiatives that directly impact revenue, reliability, and customer experience

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer at a strong, tech-first company
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and strong experience with React
• Excellent backend engineering fundamentals, preferably in Node.js-heavy environments
• Proven ability to design, build, and evolve scalable systems
• Experience owning large features or systems end-to-end
• Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments with shifting priorities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical tradeoffs
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (visa sponsorship not available)

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $165,000 – $200,000
• Equity: Competitive
• Employment Type: Full-time

• 100% Remote (U.S.)
• Preference for candidates located in Austin, TX or San Francisco, Dallas, or Houston
• No East Coast candidates at this time
