Hardware / Software Certification Manager sought for aeronautics client. Fully remote role anywhere in North America.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Upgrading certification processes to align with international standards.
- Prepare "DO" documents (178C or 254),
- Work with various teams to incorporate certifications into the SDLC.
- Technical leader, validation, verification.
- Audits, risk management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- B.Eng. (electrical or aerospace), or BS Computer Science.
- Best practices for HW and SW certification, and able ensure verification/validation oversight and compliance.
- SME guidance on all high level certification processes within aerospace industry standards is a must.
- 7 to 10 years' hands on working with "DO" avionics certification standards.
OF INTEREST:
- Aerospace hardware and software lifecycle skills of interest.
- Design Assurance Level certification preferred.
- Graphics design skills training would be helpful in design certification.
