Medical Technology Business Development Manager  

 

Our client provides medical device / medtech companies with SaaS / AI Software that can predict and provide early insight as to what advanced intelligence or information their medtech clients will benefit from, based on their current activities and our client's machine learning / large language models /LLMs unique software.

Their intelligence gathering / sales research power discovers and outlines what is and will be necessary for ongoing success, such as related to clinical trials, regulatory studies, quality engineering, products, sales, and manufacturing.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Closing sales and promoting customer relationships. 
  • Maintaining and growing customer base / prospecting.
  • Helping product team to understand what product features will make good selling point.
  • Knowing the competition.
  • Keeping records, creating attractive messaging and scripts.
  • Taking part in tradeshows and conferences.
  • Self motivated, energetic, driven.
REQUIREMENTS:
 
  • 3 to 5 successful sales years in medical device or life science.
  • Understand and experience with marketing strategies.
  • Ability to surpass quota year over year.
  • Enjoys making cold calls and finding new clients.
  • Backing using a complex business tech stack.
  • Sucess in exceeding quotas.
  • Quick learner with understanding of SaaS, AI itself, and medical devices.
  • Used to generating pipelines.
  • Great communicator in all modes of communication.
  • Relationship builder and great at puzzles.
  • Self motivated and driven.
  • Preferably located in the Eastern time zone in Canada.

‍Salary:
Base salary: CAD $80K - 90K with some flexibility.
On Target Earnings (OTE): CAD $120K - $130K, with some flexibility.
