3043 NHP QC / Manufacturing Inspector

Quality Control Inspector needed for Toronto ON Natural Health Products manufacturing firm. 6 month contract. On site.

Benefits included. 40 hour work week. Could convert to full time.

• Ensures products meet company specifications, industry standards, and customer requirements.
• Visually inspecting and testing raw materials and finished goods for defects or flaws.
• Operating testing equipment, measuring products, documenting results.
• Reporting issues to management, recommending improvements to the production process.
• Conducting ASTM F2100 testing basic knowledge.
• 3rd party testing, and familiar with external lab coordination preferred.  
• AQL and ISO 13485 basic knowledge - any hands on nice to have.
• Establishing quality standards: Some experience in supporting or implementing standards is an asset.
• Diploma or BS in Engineering, Science, related.
• Manufacturing of interest.
• At least 1 year or QC experience.
• Able to adapt to a fast paced environment.
