Due to growth our client is looking for a degreed Product Engineer.  They are a foundry operation making parts for the aerospace and defense industries. In this role you will work exclusively with clients in the space industry.  The company is located between Madison and Milwaukee.  Career growth and rewarding challenges are part of the offering.

 

Due to defense contract work the company does, you must be a US Citizen.

What you will be doing:

·         Responsible for customer product lines from new product development, molds and tooling design, order review, to initial production, to continuous improvement activities of established products. 

·         Create manufacturing routings and bill-of-materials to create finished parts that meet customer requirements and specifications. 

·         Work with Customers, Process Engineers, Quality, Sales, and Operations to support product line improvements.

·         Deliver excellent customer service.

·         Support efforts to identify and implement technical market strategies and aid in new business development.

 

What they are looking for:

·         BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, etc.)

·         5 years + of experience in the foundry/casting industry making aerospace components(Any experience with vacuum investment casting would be a plus.)

·         Some experience in design (they use SolidWorks), preferably with gating and riser design

·         Must be able to provide BOMs and routings

·         Understanding of casting processes, simulations and modelling

·         Ability to communicate with customers and open to up to 10% travel
