As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for patients by helping them regain movement and manage pain effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients based on the physician's orders to determine the best course of treatment.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques such as manual therapy, exercises, and modalities to promote recovery and improve function.
• Conduct thorough functional assessments, including evaluating home and vocational environments and equipment needs.
• Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and therapeutic procedures to continue post-treatment.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain professional standards and comply with regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current state licensure to practice physical therapy.
• Proven experience in a similar healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Demonstrated competency in physical therapy principles and techniques.
• Ability to develop comprehensive care plans and adapt to the individual needs of patients.
• Familiarity with accreditation and compliance standards.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs independently), pushing, and reaching for prolonged periods.
