THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Business Development Director to lead efforts in supporting the U.S. Defense Department. This role is critical in identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with key stakeholders within the defense sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of defense contracting, government procurement processes, and a proven track record in business development and relationship management.

Responsibilities
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
· 10+ years of experience in business development, focusing on the U.S. defense sector and government contracting.
· Proven track record of successfully securing defense contracts and building relationships with government agencies.
· Experience submitting successful DoD proposals of at least $25M.
· Strong understanding of defense procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements (e.g., FAR, DFARS).
· Existing relationships with key stakeholders in the U.S. Defense Department and related agencies, particularly in jet engines, drones, or missile systems.
· Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
· Eligibility to hold a Top-Secret Clearance.
