THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:Seeking Aerospace Technical Sales Manager.Come join an exciting team with a growing company with an excellent opportunity to grow your career. Excellent pay, 50%-75% travel. Background in military/aviation/aerospace program and or sales experience.The position will require working directly with customers, identifying solutions to maintenance and overhaul challenges utilizing the company's unique equipment. Customers include OEMs, both military and commercial, MROs, military and commercial, direct military maintenance and direct commercial carrier locations.Job Responsibilities Include:
Demonstrate technical knowledge of aviation products, Maintenance and Repair Operations (MRO), and market requirements and provide the expertise to sell in diverse markets.
Support and represent corporate initiatives in specific markets, customers and applications.
Build Market success by identifying, developing, and defining Programs and Prospects to meet the company’s sales and growth goals.
Effectively represent the company to its customers, develop relationships with customers, aviation related associations and governmental agencies, support trade shows as required, and communicate with a range of management personnel including program influencers and decision-makers across customer functional departments.
Participate in sales strategies, market and account plans and identify, build, and expand sales opportunities for the company's products building on our current market position.
Assist in the development and implementing account strategies to identify, cultivate and capture medium to long-term sales opportunities in domestic markets.
Contribute to business cases as well as bid and proposal activity for customer’s Requests for Proposal (RFP).
Assist with the forecast of customer orders and deliveries to support the company's manufacturing and financial planning.
Learn and understand organization's sales and marketing strategies, contractual policies, and technical capabilities and can effectively represent these capabilities in the marketplace
Participate in domestic and global sales strategies in both Military and Commercial segments.
As needed, contribute to the Company sales and marketing content (e.g. case studies, white papers, videos, blog posts…) in collaboration with the management team.
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
3-5 + years of customer facing military and/or commercial aviation management experience.
Familiar with aerospace sheet metal/structural maintenance experience or similar experience is a plus
Exposure to military and/or commercial aviation maintenance sales/program management
Hands-on” technician or supervisor with business operations and/or sales experience.
Aviation and Logistics experience in either/both military and commercial aviation sectors is a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field, preferred.
