We are seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Chain Director to establish and optimize supply chain operations for turbojet engines. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain management, procurement, logistics, and inventory control within the aerospace sector. This role requires a proactive leader who can drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the aerospace industry.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, procurement practices, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex supply chains and delivering results.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support the production and delivery of turbojet engines.
  • Oversee procurement processes, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and relationship management.
  • Manage logistics and distribution networks to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and finished products.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment of supply chain activities with production schedules and quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, shortages, and quality issues.
  • Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Analyze supply chain performance metrics and implement corrective actions to achieve operational excellence.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to drive innovation in supply chain practices.
