President – Govcon Saas Company

Hybrid role based in the Fort Lauderdale area. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

We are seeking a President to lead the company’s day-to-day operations and drive product, customer, and team success. This executive will oversee engineering, product management, professional services, and customer support, while aligning the company for growth in a cloud-first, compliance-critical environment. The President will report to PE Operating Partner and collaborate with the broader leadership team to execute strategy and scale operations.

Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, product, services, support, sales, and marketing
  • Shape and execute the company strategy in partnership with PE firm leadership
  • Drive product modernization to include secure cloud-hosted and GovCloud offerings

Product & Engineering Oversight

  • Align product and engineering roadmaps with A&D market demands
  • Ensure secure, compliant, and timely software delivery
  • Optimize technical processes to support scalability, innovation, and customer responsiveness

Customer Experience & Professional Services

  • Scale and manage professional services to support customer onboarding and implementation
  • Enhance support operations and customer satisfaction
  • Develop predictable, margin-positive service revenue streams

Operational Excellence

  • Establish operational metrics, systems, and workflows across departments
  • Drive program execution, resource planning, and continuous improvement
  • Maintain disciplined, data-driven management processes

Financial Oversight

  • Own departmental budgets, forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Optimize financial performance across all functional areas

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted leader internally and externally
  • Represent the company in key customer, partner, and board-level conversations

BACKGROUND PROFILE:

  • 10+ years in operational leadership roles at software companies (P&L ownership preferred)
  • Aerospace & Defense sector experience or selling into government/military markets highly preferred
  • Experience with compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, CMMC, SOC 2
  • Demonstrated success in scaling engineering, services, and support teams
  • Deep understanding of secure software development and SaaS delivery (GovCloud a plus)
  • Strong cross-functional leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills
  • Financial acumen and experience managing multi-departmental budgets
  • U.S. Citizenship required; ability to pass relevant A&D background screening
