THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead the establishment and operation of a state-of-the-art turbojet engine manufacturing facility. This role involves overseeing all aspects of manufacturing, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving production efficiency.

 

The ideal candidate will have a background working on production floor and has progressed to leading large manufacturing teams with 10 or more years of experiences in both aerospace and defense manufacturing industries.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production schedules while adhering to strict aerospace quality standards and regulatory requirements.

·       Implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity, efficiency, and waste reduction.

·       Build and mentor a diverse team of manufacturing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration.

·       Maintain and exceed quality standards and certifications (e.g., AS9100) through robust quality control systems and monitoring.

·       Manage budgets, optimize resource allocation, and control costs to meet financial objectives.

·       Coordinate closely with engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance teams to resolve production issues and ensure seamless operations.

·       Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in aerospace manufacturing.

·       Provide senior management with regular reports on manufacturing performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and actionable recommendations for improvement.

 

BACKGROUND PROFILE:

·       10+ years in aerospace and defense manufacturing operations management with a proven track record in a leadership role.

·       Comprehensive knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and quality assurance systems.

·       Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) projects.

·       Familiarity with aerospace materials and associated manufacturing processes.

·       Previous production floor supervisor experience.

·       Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
