Established original equipment manufacturer is hiring a Project Engineer to join their project management team. The Project Engineer will work within a team of project managers and operations professionals to complete multiple projects on time and within budget. Daily you will report to a Project Team Lead. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Manage and lead up to 20 projects at a time at various stages
- Communicate as the liaison between production and customers on the status of projects
- Oversee budgets and manage timelines and project scopes
- Forecast projects and communicate and document changes
- Ensure that inspection and verification of equipment meets the scope of the customer project
- Negotiate change orders, project terms, scheduling etc. with customers and operations
- Update customers on the status of projects and hold them accountable to the project scope or educate them on additional costs of the project
- Complete all project documentation and attend project meetings with sales and engineering
- Oversee equipment installs and assist with oversight of final inspection
- Represent the company in a professional manner that will foster and build client relationships
- Other duties as directed by management

REQUIREMENTS for the Project Engineer:
1. Minimum of a high school diploma; additional post education is preferred

2. Ideally 3-5 years of experience in a similar project engineering position
3. Experience managing CapEx projects in general manufacturing or at an OEM (original equipment manufacturer)
4. Experience overseeing project timelines and budgets
5. Experience reading blueprints/part drawings

7. Mechanical aptitude
8. Microsoft Office
