- Quality System Compliance: Develop and maintain all quality assurance policies, procedures, and work instructions to ensure the company remains in full compliance with QMS standards.
- Root Cause & Corrective Action: Lead root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans alongside the production team, including completing documentation.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare and manage customer submission packages, including PPAPs, quality plans, flowcharts, and FMEAs.
- Engineering Support: Assist in designing gage and check fixture concepts and perform dimensional layouts and process capability measurements.
- Customer Liaison: Serve as the "voice of the company" during customer meetings to review and resolve quality matters.
- Department Leadership: Manage a small quality assurance team by hiring and training personnel, while directing all quality audit and inspection activities to meet customer requirements.
The company is seeking a candidate who enjoys improving quality systems. Candidates should be professional, enjoy customer communication, have excellent problem solving skills, good written and verbal communication and support a positive working culture. REQUIREMENTS for the Quality Engineer:
1. Minimum of an Associate's degree; a Bachelor's degree is highly preferred

2. At least 2-5 years of similar manufacturing quality engineering experience
3. Root cause analysis and corrective actions
4. Working knowledge of QMS systems, such as ISO, IATF, etc.
5. Working knowledge of PPAPs
6. Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
