Established, privately held logistics company is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the warehousing functions for a first-shift operation. As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will report to the Warehouse Manager and oversee a team of up to 11 people. Daily, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Safety & Team Leadership: Drive a safety-first mindset by enforcing safety compliance and maintaining a safe work environment, while recruiting, coaching, and developing warehouse staff in a positive team culture.
- Daily Operations & Equipment Utilization: Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution—maximizing floor space, docks, and manpower while operating a forklift as needed to support floor operations.
- Inventory Control & Compliance: Maintain accurate inventory through physical counts and system reconciliations while ensuring strict adherence to company policies, quality programs (QMS/WMS), and regulatory standards.
- Performance & Continuous Improvement: Track and analyze daily KPIs, drive process improvement initiatives, manage facility/equipment maintenance, and support budget goals through accurate data and cost controls.
Candidates should enjoy working in a team environment while holding others accountable, be professional, and able to handle pressure while finding ways to make processes better. Individuals should enjoy spending up to 90% of their time on the floor, supporting the first shift operation and driving forklift as needed.

REQUIREMENTS for the Warehouse Supervisor:
1. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED
2. Minimum of 2-3 years of similar warehouse supervision experience
3. Experience in warehousing chemical and HAZMAT-related materials
3. Experience in warehousing chemical and HAZMAT-related materials
4. Experience working with an ERP or WMS system
5. Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
Skills preferred but NOT required:
1. Knowledge of QMS systems, specifically ISO, would be ideal
2. Sara reporting
