Our client in Toronto is committed to providing superior customer service along with cost-effective insurance and risk management solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of each of their clients.
They are in need of a Commercial Lines Account Manager/Underwriter.
You will oversee the day to day servicing of the book, working with clients, making changes, updates, preparing proposals, handling renewals and will be required to do underwriting as well.
You will leverage your industry knowledge and experience to provide a best-in-class client experience by offering solutions that will protect, comfort and recover. You are self-motivated, proactive, and client-focused. You provide exceptional day-to-day service to maintain and exceed the reputation and service standards of the brokerage.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- 3 years of Commercial Insurance industry experience
- Active and in good standing RIBO license
- Experience underwriting commercial policies
- Experience with COMMERCIAL GARAGE, AUTO and PROPERTY required
- CAIB, CIP, CRM designations (or in progress) are an asset
- Strong team player—ability to adapt to and collaborate with various team members and individuals
- A keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while staying focused on priorities
- Working knowledge of Epic and/or TAM an asset
Salary based on experience.
