Job Title: Commercial Account Manager β Marine, Cargo & Logistics

THE POSITION:
Commercial Account Manager with expertise in Marine, Cargo, and Logistics (NOT INLAND MARINE) to manage and grow a portfolio of complex commercial clients. This role is ideal for someone who LOVES client service, risk analysis, and relationship management within the Marine, and Logistics sectors.
Be a trusted advisor to your clients, coordinating coverage solutions across domestic and international risks while working closely with insurers, underwriters, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and service a portfolio of commercial accounts focused on Marine, Cargo, and Logistics risks
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely, accurate, and proactive service
- Analyze client operations and exposures to recommend appropriate insurance and risk management solutions
- Prepare renewals, endorsements, certificates, and policy documentation
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage with underwriters and insurance markets
- Monitor market trends, coverage developments, and regulatory changes affecting marine and logistics risks
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards
Qualifications & Experience

2+ years of experience in commercial insurance, with a focus on marine, cargo, or logistics (marine is key)

Strong understanding of marine insurance products, including cargo, hull, P&I, and transit risks

Proven experience managing mid-to-large commercial accounts

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
