Your Key Responsibilities: The Core of the Role
You will be responsible for providing elite-level customer service and managing the complete surety requirements for your assigned construction portfolio.
Financial & Underwriting Excellence:
- Perform financial analysis and pre-underwriting administration of the surety portfolio.
- Prepare detailed underwriting market submissions in accordance with company standards.
- Proactively manage the surety facility requirements of the assigned portfolio.
Client & Market Engagement:
- Provide elite-level customer service to an assigned portfolio of accounts.
- Provide innovative solutions to complex customer requirements.
- Meet with clients in underwriting and prospecting meetings as required.
- Professionally represent the company at industry events, associations, and with our surety company partners.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate seamlessly with other team members in both the surety and insurance departments in a professional and solution-oriented fashion.
✅ What You'll Need to Succeed
We are looking for a highly capable, detail-oriented professional ready to jump in and deliver results:
- Minimum of 2 years of Surety underwriting or brokerage experience.
- RIBO license is required.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and strong analytical skills (specifically financial analysis).
- A strong communicator (written and oral), with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work well both in a group environment and autonomously.
- Ability to influence others in a cooperative manner.
- Preference is given to candidates with ACSB designation and finance/accounting training or background.
