Key Responsibilities

Prospect, generate, and qualify new commercial insurance leads
-
Deliver quotes and custom-tailored coverage options promptly
-
Advise and educate clients on risks and appropriate solutions
-
Build and manage a profitable commercial book of business

Ensure compliance with underwriting and company policies
-
Coordinate policy documents, applications, and payments
-
Maintain high retention through outstanding client service

Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales and quality targets
What You Bring
Must-Haves:
-
Active RIBO license
-
Minimum 3 years of commercial insurance sales experience

Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance coverages
-
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
-
Reside in the Greater Ottawa Area

Post-secondary education or insurance-specific diploma
Nice-to-Haves:

Professional designations such as CAIB, CIP, or FCIP

Experience in commercial underwriting or account management
-
Fluency in additional languages

Compensation Overview
This is a commission-only position. Brokers earn both new business and renewal commissions, with income potential increasing year over year:

Year 1: $52,000 – $75,000+
