Personal Lines -Team Lead

Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership by continuously keeping your team informed on changes, results, and key initiatives while sharing accountability for overall team performance, productivity, and engagement
- Evaluate staff performance and prepare formal performance reviews
- Perform quality reviews to support staff development and coaching
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings with team members to discuss performance and development
- Lead team meetings to communicate updates, changes, and operational initiatives
- Develop respectful and successful working relationships with staff and branch teams
- Collaborate with management on technical and administrative issues
- Ensure adherence to insurance carrier guidelines and internal procedures
- Train new hires, oversee performance, and provide ongoing support
- Oversee a team of 20+ employees in a remote, hybrid, and in-office environment
Requirements
- RIBO license required; CIP or CAIB designation considered an asset
- Sound knowledge of the insurance industry, policies, and products
- 3+ years of Personal Lines Insurance experience
- Previous leadership experience considered an asset
- Strong customer service, communication, and Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Superior organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Experience with Power Broker, Acturis, and Applied Rating (Compu-Quote) considered an asset
- Must be able to work from the Concord office 5 days per week
