Our Client is committed to supporting their clients with personalized, trustworthy, and comprehensive insurance solutions. As their brokerage continues to grow, they are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our team and provide critical administrative and service support to our brokers and clients.
Position Overview:
The CSR is responsible for assisting brokers with the back-end processing of personal and/or commercial insurance files. You will support the team by handling documentation, data entry, policy changes, endorsements, and client communications as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and new business documentation.
• Review client files for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines.
• Communicate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes/approvals, policy documents, and updates.
• Assist brokers with administrative tasks and client follow-ups.
• Maintain client records in our broker management system.
• Provide prompt, professional, and friendly support to both clients and internal team members.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an insurance support or administrative role (brokerage experience preferred).
• Knowledge of personal or commercial insurance products and processes.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Broker Management Systems and Rating Software (e.g., Power Broker, Applied).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• RIBO License is an asset but not required.
