Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager – Woodbridge (Hybrid)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their Woodbridge office on a hybrid schedule. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives on relationship-building, complex policy management, and delivering superior client service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurers and clients

  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues across the team

  • Review policies, contracts, and claims documentation for accuracy

  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and policy conditions with underwriters

  • Prepare detailed client proposals and maintain accurate renewal documentation

  • Assist in designing tailored insurance programs for clients

  • Analyze, negotiate, and prepare carrier renewals

  • Respond promptly to client inquiries within established service standards

  • Maintain accurate records, expiry lists, and daily abeyances

  • Manage day-to-day client requests and policy amendments

  • Create and maintain complex spreadsheets and reporting tools

  • Track client communications and maintain database records

  • Follow up with insurers and clients on outstanding information, endorsements, and policy documentation

  • Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of Commercial Lines experience (TSR experience not included)

  • R.I.B.O. license required

  • Proficiency with TAM (The Agency Manager) and Compu-Quote

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

  • Experience using insurer portals for quoting, wordings, and policy changes

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

  • Strong client service orientation and excellent interpersonal skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
