Our client is seeking a dynamic client focused Account Assistant to join our Personal Insurance Team. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to build their insurance career, is a strong team player who enjoys working with people who are committed to delivering results, backed by a supportive leadership team and a collaborative, people-first culture. This role reports directly to the Manager, Operations and Quality Control.

What You’ll Do
 
  • Develop and maintain expertise of EPIC Broker Management System.
  • Deliver the highest standard of review and processing of New Business and Remarket policies within EPIC and Carrier partner systems.
  • Engage with team daily to drive productivity and troubleshoot for issue resolution.
  • Display strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Work cohesively with team to achieve desired results with daily tasks and responsibilities 
  • Display strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
  • Offer robust analytical, logical, and technical support to our service and sales teams.
  • Provide prompt and accurate solutions to daily queries, both internal and external.
  • Demonstrate high level of initiative to drive results and improvements.
  • Complete activity input and reconciliation for New Business and remarkets in a timely fashion.
  • Generate client communication and follow-up activity 
  • Back up service support division as required.
  • Training and mentorship of fellow team members.
  • Supportively assist, participate, and contribute to workflows, processes, and meetings.
  • Review, assignment and processing of various Download tasks daily.

  • Experience in EPIC  (must have)
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Great attitude, self-motivated and logical thinker that can work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Strong verbal and written Communication skills.
  • Ability to exercise initiative and follow-up skills.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in Insurance.
