Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers and clients

Service a book mainly of construction, bonding experience would be an asset, and general commercial business

Review policies, contracts, and documentation for accuracy; report claims as required

Negotiate terms, pricing, and policy conditions with Underwriters
-
Prepare client proposals and ensure accurate, organized renewal documentation

Assist in designing tailored insurance programs for clients
-
Analyze, negotiate, and prepare carrier renewals
-
Respond to client inquiries within established service standards
-
Maintain accurate records, expiry lists, and daily abeyances
-
Manage day-to-day client requests, amendments, and documentation updates
-
Create and modify advanced spreadsheets as needed
-
Maintain detailed logs of client communications
-
Follow up with insurers and clients regarding outstanding information, endorsements, and policy documents

Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
Minimum 3-4 years of Commercial Lines experience
(TSR experience does not qualify toward this requirement.) -
R.I.B.O. license required

Proficiency with Applied EPIC and ARS
- Experience using insurer portals for quotes, wordings, and policy changes

Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively

Strong client service focus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
