Join their new and expanding team as a Design & Development Engineer!
The ideal candidate will have experience in high-voltage connector systems within the automotive sector.
Tasks:
Develop and design cutting-edge high-voltage connection systems from concept to mass production (e.g., terminals, housings, charging inlets, charging couplings).
Research and implement innovative manufacturing technologies (e.g., EMPT, ultrasonic welding, automation).
Implement new development concepts using your market knowledge, analysis, and insight into future trends.
Coordinate design and development concepts with the product design team, product management, and other interdisciplinary functions.
Lead root cause analysis using standard problem-solving methods (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, etc.).
Requirements:
Engineering degree or equivalent.
Experience in the product development of high-voltage (HV) connector systems in the automotive environment, adhering to the IATF 16949 standard.
Strong knowledge in applying Six Sigma/Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodologies in technology product and process development.
Experience in the manufacturing process of HV connectors (using DFM & FMEA) and familiarity with relevant industry standards (e.g., LV 214, USCAR 2, LV 215).
CAD software experience preferred.
Proficiency in English.
