Job Overview

We are hiring Robot Technicians to deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and support advanced warehouse robotic systems. This is a hands-on role combining mechanical and electrical repair with Linux-based software troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate has strong hardware troubleshooting skills and is also comfortable using command-line tools, reviewing logs, running scripts, and working with engineering teams to resolve technical issues.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and support robotic fleets in warehouse environments
• Commission, test, configure, and debug robotic systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software-related robot issues
• Diagnose failures and perform routine and incident-based maintenance
• Use Linux command-line tools to review logs, run scripts, and support diagnostics
• Flash firmware and perform basic software configuration and troubleshooting
• Work with engineering teams to resolve complex technical issues
• Perform electrical troubleshooting using multimeters and related diagnostic equipment
• Complete mechanical repairs, assembly, adjustments, and component replacement
• Use soldering, crimping, torque, and standard hand tools as part of daily repairs
• Support root-cause analysis for major field incidents
• Provide onsite technical support and training to customer teams
• Maintain accurate service and repair documentation

 

Requirements

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing robots, industrial equipment, automation systems, mechatronics, or similar equipment
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable using multimeters, hand tools, torque tools, soldering equipment, and electrical crimping tools
• Basic Linux command-line experience
• Comfortable navigating directories, reviewing logs, and running predefined scripts
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues methodically and explain your troubleshooting process
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures accurately
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical issues
• Comfortable working directly with customers and engineering teams
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds

 

Linux & Software Experience

• Comfortable using basic Linux commands such as cd, ls, cat, grep, and tail
• Able to connect to robotic systems using SSH
• Able to run predefined Bash or diagnostic scripts
• Able to review system logs and identify basic errors
• Comfortable opening and editing basic configuration files using nano or vim
• Able to follow step-by-step software troubleshooting procedures

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of troubleshooting or debugging experience in robotics, industrial automation, mechatronics, or similar systems
• Mobile robotics experience
• Experience with basic system administration or network configuration
• Familiarity with relational databases or SQL
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, system block diagrams, circuit schematics, and engineering manuals
• Experience supporting robotic deployments or field service operations
• Experience working directly with engineering teams on hardware and software issues
