• Track crew staffing against operational capacity and proactively identify coverage gaps
• Maintain weekly resource allocation plans and forward-looking capacity forecasts
• Balance vehicle availability, crew availability, maintenance needs, and operational demand
• Run recurring fleet planning meetings across hardware, operations, and engineering teams
• Track open questions, decisions, owners, and completion dates
• Develop executive-ready fleet analyses highlighting capacity constraints, tradeoffs, and recommended actions
• Own and improve fleet management tools and operational workflows
• Partner with Engineering and Product to define business requirements and reduce manual processes
• Connect fleet data across scheduling, HR, telematics, and operational systems
• Document and continuously improve fleet coordination processes as operations scale

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in fleet planning, asset management, logistics coordination, or a related operational function
• Experience supporting Class 8 commercial vehicles, autonomous vehicle fleets, or similarly complex fleet operations
• Strong understanding of vehicle lifecycle management, including deployment, maintenance, downtime, and operational readiness
• Experience owning recurring resource and capacity planning cycles
• Ability to build allocation plans and forward-looking capacity forecasts against operational demand
• Experience balancing vehicle availability and crew staffing while identifying future backfill needs
• Strong technical aptitude with fleet management, telematics, ELD, or similar operational systems
• Strong data fluency with the ability to combine information across systems and identify operational constraints
• Experience running cross-functional planning meetings and driving decisions to clear owners and deadlines
• Experience partnering with Engineering and Product teams to improve or automate operational workflows
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to operational record-keeping
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and operational teams
• Ability to travel occasionally to other operational sites
