We are hiring an Service Operations Manager to lead PM-shift service operations across the Greater Phoenix area. This role is responsible for leading a team of service technicians, maximizing fleet uptime, improving technician performance, and ensuring service operations run smoothly across multiple sites and shifts.

This is a strong fit for an experienced service or technical operations leader who has managed technician teams, owned operational KPIs, improved service processes, and worked in fast-paced technical environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a PM-shift team of new and experienced service technicians
• Drive fleet uptime, technician productivity, and service execution
• Maintain a safety-first approach across service operations
• Ensure adherence to service SOPs, work order processes, and parts management procedures
• Track technician productivity and operational KPIs
• Analyze performance variances and identify opportunities for improvement
• Partner with Service Engineering on tooling needs and new platform deployments
• Maintain accountability and uptime for service tools and equipment
• Own shift handoffs, including open work orders, escalations, and parts status
• Support technician development and career progression
• Coordinate with leadership across shifts to maintain seamless operations

 

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in service operations, field service, or technical operations
• 2+ years of experience leading service technicians or field teams
• Experience owning team performance and day-to-day execution
• Strong experience with work order management systems
• Experience tracking operational KPIs such as MTTR, MTBF, throughput, and SLA performance
• Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
• Experience scaling operations, launching new markets, or supporting infrastructure buildouts
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Ability to successfully complete a motor vehicle record check

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with robotics, autonomous systems, electric vehicles, aircraft, or similar complex systems
• Mobile or field service experience
• Familiarity with MaintainX, JIRA, or similar service platforms
• Exposure to technical environments involving diagnostics, APIs, scripting, Python, or GitHub

 

Schedule

• 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
• Some schedule flexibility may be needed for AM-shift handoffs or weekend coverage
