Responsible for the timely output of quality products from the manufacturing operation. Supports the strategic plan by performing activities to successfully execute the manufacturing production process safely, timely and productively. Will Report to Plant Site Manager.
• Manages ~15 person team and manufacturing work centers from raw material through finished product to the customer.
• Supports process changes designed to improve safety, quality, and manufacturing efficiency throughout the manufacturing area.
• Oversees execution of production processes, employee training (Safety, Quality, Job & Skills), scheduling and other tasks to meet production demands.
• Performs analysis and executes Lean MFG, projects, & continuous improvement.
• Responds timely to problems maintaining and support production.
• Plans over a 3-6-12 month time span with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Lead and Mentor Manufacturing Team.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical degree preferred
• Manufacturing management experience in technical job shop environment.
• Experience with MRP systems or database in manufacturing and MS Office
• Knowledge of materials knowledge, processes and firing desirable. Continuous Improvement experience & statistical analysis skills with root cause analysis skills.
• Leadership capability with proven results and strong organizational capability.
