Join a dynamic team in Danville as a Quality Engineer, where your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing product quality and operational efficiency within a cutting-edge lithium battery separator manufacturing environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our products consistently meet customer expectations, regulatory standards, and internal quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to and promote rigorous safety procedures across all operations.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improving product quality and manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor and analyze manufacturing processes and product quality performance.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into product defects and process deviations.
  • Support root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Participate in process validation, qualification, and product testing activities.
  • Utilize quality tools such as SPC, PFMEA, and control plans to drive improvements.
  • Lead initiatives focused on quality enhancement, scrap reduction, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure timely completion of quality inspections, testing, and documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant specifications, standards, and regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits and customer quality assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Materials Science, or related field.
  • ASQ certification or equivalent quality certification is preferred.
  • 3–5 years of quality engineering experience in battery manufacturing or related industries.
  • Proficiency in IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and/or ISO 14001 quality systems.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with SPC, PFMEA, control plans, and statistical analysis tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality reporting systems.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
