Lead Combustible Dust Engineer / Consultant (Remote)
Overview:
Our team is partnering with a well-established engineering consulting firm that puts its people first - prioritizing flexibility, work-life balance, and long-term career growth. They’ve consistently paid out bonuses for 15+ years and offer the chance to work on diverse, technically interesting projects across multiple industries. They’re looking to either add a Lead or Senior Lead Combustible Dust Engineer / Consultant to their team. This role is best suited for someone with prior experience in a technical consulting role. This is a remote role with about 20-30% travel to client sites and conferences, allowing you to stay hands-on while maintaining flexibility. You’ll serve as a technical lead on combustible dust and explosion protection projects, conducting DHAs, advising clients, developing strategies, and mentoring junior engineers - while having real influence on project direction and solutions. You'll get involved with other process safety initiatives and collaborate with other department teams.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred (closely related degrees and relevant experience will be considered)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with a primary focus on combustible dust and dust hazard analysis (DHA)
- Client-facing technical consulting experience required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, but not required
