Chemical Manufacturer seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime in a manufacturing facility. This role supports electrical and control systems, partners with production and maintenance teams, and leads projects that improve plant performance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues and provide technical support to production and maintenance teams.
• Improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs and develop reliability initiatives.
• Investigate recurring equipment failures and implement lasting solutions.
• Support the plant control network and help resolve issues affecting production, quality, and equipment availability.
• Lead improvement projects from scope and cost estimates through installation and commissioning.
• Plan work, manage project costs, and oversee contractors as needed.
• Provide technical leadership to maintenance staff and serve as the E/I Coordinator’s designee when needed.
• Promote safe work practices and collaborate across plant departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology preferred.
• At least 3 years of industrial experience with electrical and control systems.
• Working knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to plan and complete work on schedule, estimate project costs, and manage budgets.
• Sound engineering and safety practices, with the ability to support and develop maintenance teams.
