Medical facility in Connecticut is seeking an experienced Certified Physician Assistant for its urgent care center. The candidate is also required to have experience in Emergency or Urgent Care Medicine for consideration; evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across all age groups in a fast-paced urgent care setting. Strong procedural experience in order to perform common urgent care procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, wound management, splinting, and foreign body removal. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practitioners, nursing teams, and specialists to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The candidate must have a State of Connecticut medical license, controlled substance registration, federal DEA registration and PALS and ACLS certification, a minimum of 1 year of urgent care or emergency medicine experience.
