The Florida offices and Texas location are of the utmost priority for this firm right now and they are hiring urgently for a passionate, reputable, trustworthy and impactful commercial litigator to handle matters ranging from broker/dealer disputes to securities matters, trademark disputes, insurance claims, employment matters and a litany of commercial litigation matters on a state and federal level.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SEC Litigation Attorney or a litigator with strong internal dispute matters such as broker/dealer and investor disputes to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex commercial disputes, with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients while maintaining the highest standards of professional integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead litigation cases from inception through resolution, including pre-trial, trial, and post-trial activities.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to protect client interests.
- Negotiate settlements and work collaboratively with opposing counsel to resolve disputes.
- Advise clients on potential legal risks and business strategies related to litigation matters.
- Participate in and manage discovery processes, including depositions and interrogatories.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice and in good standing with the state bar.
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial litigation and business disputes.
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proven track record of managing multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Senior Counsel – Financial Markets & Commercial Litigation
Location: Remote (with necessary court appearances around the Southern and Central Florida districts)
§ Practice Area: Securities Defense, Regulatory Enforcement, and Complex Business Litigation
§ Location: Fully Remote (United States)
§ Salary: $135,000 to $175,000 Base Salary (Plus 401k matching, comprehensive health and dental insurance, and performance-based bonus incentives)
§ Schedule: Full-time, Direct-Hire, Minimum 1,850 hours annual billed
§ Duties
The incoming Senior Associate will manage a diverse portfolio of complex commercial and securities litigation matters, providing strategic counsel to financial professionals and institutional entities. This role demands a high degree of autonomy and the ability to navigate multi-jurisdictional legal challenges.
Core responsibilities include:
⨖ Spearheading the discovery process, including the strategic execution and defense of party and non-party depositions involving financial experts and key stakeholders.
⨖ Drafting sophisticated pleadings and dispositive motions, such as motions to dismiss and summary judgment briefs, in both federal and state court venues.
⨖ Representing clients in regulatory inquiries and enforcement actions initiated by agencies such as FINRA and the SEC.
⨖ Analyzing complex financial data and investment structures to develop persuasive legal theories and defense strategies.
⨖ Managing comprehensive case lifecycles from inception through resolution, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and adherence to the highest standards of professional integrity.
§ Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate a consistent history of excellence and stability within their career.
⨖ Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school with an exemplary academic record.
⨖ Active Bar License in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
⨖ A minimum of four (4) years of substantive experience in complex commercial or securities litigation.
⨖ Proven expertise in federal and state motion practice and the deposition process.
⨖ A stable professional history, defined as having no more than two employers within the previous five-year period and no unexplained gaps in tenure.
