Compensation: $475,000 per year

We have partnered closely with a premier regional healthcare facility to recruit a full-time, Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) Outpatient Neurologist. Located directly within the main hospital building, this role offers the perfect blend of a dedicated outpatient clinic environment, an established support team, and zero traditional hospital call burdens.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient neurological evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for a diverse patient population.
- Partner and collaborate with an established, high-functioning clinic team currently comprised of two physicians and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
- Manage a predictable outpatient workflow with no mandatory hospital call responsibilities, restricted primarily to reviewing critical patient lab values as needed.
- Customize your practice scope based on your clinical preferences, with options to read EEGs (preferred but not required) and/or conduct EMG reads if desired.
- Take advantage of optional inpatient coverage opportunities if you have a clinical interest in maintaining acute care exposure.
- Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely electronic medical records for all clinical encounters and consultations.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
- Successful completion of an accredited Neurology Residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Neurology
- Active, unrestricted Illinois state medical license (or immediate eligibility to obtain)
- Valid DEA registration
- Strong clinical judgment and a collaborative communication style optimized for a team-based clinic model
