Our client, a global AmLaw 50 law firm, a talented Commercial Real Estate Finance Associate Attorney to join its highly regarded Global Finance practice. This is an exceptional opportunity to work within a premier commercial real estate capital markets group that advises on sophisticated, high-profile transactions across the full lifecycle of commercial real estate finance matters. The practice is nationally recognized for its depth of experience and market leadership in complex financings and restructurings.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
- Active Bar Admission in relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.
- 3-6 years of substantive commercial real estate finance experience
- Hands-on experience with commercial real estate loans and mezzanine loans
- Experience serving as a key member of deal teams, including managing critical aspects of transactions from due diligence through closing
- Exposure to loan origination, loan acquisition and disposition, securitization, rating agency representation, servicing, and workouts/restructuring is highly valued
- Large law firm experience strongly preferred
- Strong drafting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously
Key Responsibilities
- Represent lenders, borrowers, and other market participants in commercial real estate finance transactions, including senior and mezzanine financings
- Manage transactions from initial diligence through execution and closing, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
- Draft and negotiate loan documents, intercreditor agreements, and related financing documentation
- Advise clients on issues related to securitization, loan acquisitions and dispositions, servicing matters, and restructurings
- Collaborate with colleagues across finance, bankruptcy, and restructuring teams on complex, multi-faceted matters

- Competitive Salary: $310,000+, commensurate with experience and class year.
