Job Description

  • Draft and advise on comprehensive estate plans including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives
  • Counsel clients on wealth transfer strategies, asset protection, and tax-aware planning approaches
  • Advise business owners on succession planning and entity considerations tied to estate plans
  • Partner with clients and internal teams on probate and trust administration matters as needed
  • Review and update existing plans, identify risks, and propose practical improvements
  • Communicate clearly and confidently with clients, accountants, and financial advisors
  • Manage matters efficiently while delivering high-touch service and strong attention to detail

Qualifications

  • Active Florida Bar membership in good standing
  • Minimum of 5 years of estate planning experience (strong drafting required)
  • Comfortable running client meetings, issue-spotting, and explaining complex topics in plain English
  • Strong writing skills, organization, and responsiveness in a client-facing practice
  • Preferred experience with probate and trust administration
  • Preferred experience with asset protection and business succession planning
