Structural Engineer

We are assisting an engineering firm in the Atlanta area with the addition of an experienced Structural Engineer to its team. This position will focus on the structural design of building projects across a variety of commercial and institutional markets.

Responsibilities

• Structural design and analysis of building systems utilizing steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and cold-formed framing
• Prepare structural calculations and construction documents using Revit
• Coordinate with other engineering and design disciplines
• Assist with construction administration, including shop drawing reviews and site observations
• Manage project responsibilities and deadlines

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 5+ years of structural design experience
• Proficiency with Revit
• Experience with structural analysis/design software such as RAM or Enercalc is a plus
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
