Are you a seasoned professional in data and functional design seeking an opportunity to influence federal operations significantly? We are looking for an SAP Design Functional Lead (SAF) to join a groundbreaking initiative - the GSA GO.gov project!

This position places you at the forefront of implementing a cutting-edge E-Gov Travel Service program, designed to deliver a unified travel and expense management service for all Federal civilian employees. Your contributions will be pivotal in supporting 124 government agencies, ensuring a seamless, secure experience that minimizes both transition costs and risks over the next 15 years.

Primary Duties:

• Lead the design of secure, agency-level financial reporting functions.
• Define and structure reporting requirements, organizational hierarchies, and data-segregation rules.
• Implement row-level security, establish reconciliation criteria, and set acceptance measures.
• Maintain the integrity of the existing enterprise reporting baseline.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, data security, or functional data design.
• Proficiency in defining row-level security, role-based access, and organizational data segregation.
• Strong skills in SQL and data analysis.
• Experience with cloud data and BI/reporting platforms.
• Competence in performing source-to-report reconciliation and defining test cases.
• Ability to translate business reporting needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Snowflake.
• Experience working with federal financial data.
