Maryland Attorney Opportunity – Creditors' Rights / Litigation

Key Responsibilities
- Handle negotiations and work toward resolution of active litigation matters.
- Draft, review, prepare, and file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other case-related documents.
- Appear at hearings and trials throughout your designated region. Mileage and approved travel expenses are reimbursed.
- Coordinate with internal team members, clients, and opposing counsel to move cases toward timely and appropriate resolutions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Must be licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Maryland.
- Strong understanding of civil litigation, courtroom procedures, and case management.
- Ability to evaluate legal matters, develop resolution strategies, and negotiate effective settlements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and competing priorities.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other technology in a professional legal environment.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and a high level of client service.
- Previous experience in collections, creditors’ rights, debt recovery, or litigation is preferred, but industry-specific training is available for the right candidate.
