Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) delivers safe, effective, age-appropriate patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with the Unit Medical Director. Care is provided in full compliance with facility policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state, federal, and corporate regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality direct patient care while supporting the unit management team in achieving goals related to quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, staff development, teamwork, positive workplace culture, and employee engagement.
- Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Understand, support, and help implement the organization’s philosophy, mission, and policies.
- Deliver patient care in accordance with established standards, physician orders, and regulatory requirements.
Schedule & Other Requirements:
- Flexible availability is required. This is a full-time or part-time position with rotating weekend shifts.
- The facility typically operates until 9:00 PM–10:00 PM; no overnight shifts are required.
Qualifications:
- Current, active LPN or LVN license in good standing (state-specific requirements apply).
- Must have a Kentucky nursing license or a compact license that covers Kentucky.
- Strong commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and professional standards.
- Ability to work effectively under supervision in a collaborative healthcare setting.
