Location: This is a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Garden City, New York.

Note: To be considered, you should have 2+ years of directly relevant real estate lending experience and be admitted to practice in New York.

Job Description

  • Support lenders and financial institutions in commercial real estate lending transactions
  • Draft, review, and revise loan documents and related transaction materials
  • Assist with due diligence, title and survey review, closings, and post-closing matters
  • Coordinate with clients, borrowers, opposing counsel, title companies, and internal stakeholders
  • Analyze deal structure, identify issues, and help move matters efficiently from inception through closing
  • Manage multiple matters at once while maintaining strong attention to detail and deadlines
  • Collaborate with attorneys across related practice areas as needed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of directly relevant real estate lending experience
  • Active New York bar admission
  • Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Experience handling commercial lending transactions and related documentation
  • Excellent communication and client-service skills
  • Able to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced law firm environment
