Position Summary
Seeking an experienced and strategic IT Manager to serve as the senior technology leader supporting site operations, infrastructure, enterprise applications, and digital transformation initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and high-performing IT services that support a fast-paced manufacturing and operational environment.
The IT Manager acts as the primary technology business partner to site leadership, aligning IT capabilities with operational goals, production continuity, compliance requirements, and long-term business strategy.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise, manufacturing systems knowledge, infrastructure leadership, cybersecurity awareness, and operational business acumen. This individual will lead local IT operations while partnering closely with corporate IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 7+ years of progressive IT experience.
- 3+ years of leadership experience in IT management or site-level IT operations.
- Strong experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or operational environments.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle e-Business Suite.
- Experience supporting manufacturing systems, inventory systems, and shop-floor technologies.
- Experience leading digital transformation or process automation initiatives.
- Experience with business intelligence, reporting tools, or analytics platforms.
- Strong technical expertise in:
- Enterprise network infrastructure
- Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure AD
- Enterprise applications (ERP/MES)
- Endpoint management platforms
- IT infrastructure management
- Cybersecurity best practices
- Backup and disaster recovery solutions
- IT service management frameworks (ITIL preferred)
- Experience managing vendors, infrastructure projects, and technology implementations.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
End User Services (EUS) & Service Management
- Ensure SLA performance for incident, request, and problem management.

Manage hardware lifecycle, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and shop-floor technology devices.

Drive user experience improvements and service automation initiatives.

Maintain onboarding and offboarding IT processes.

Monitor and report service KPIs, including MTTR, first-call resolution, and user satisfaction.

Oversee IT help desk support and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
Network & Infrastructure Management

Ensure reliability and performance of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, ISP connectivity, and site infrastructure.

Maintain high availability for critical business and production systems.

Partner with central infrastructure teams on upgrades, architecture standards, and strategic initiatives.

Oversee local server rooms, IDFs/MDFs, infrastructure compliance, and capacity planning.

Implement proactive monitoring, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity processes.

Manage system backups, endpoint management, and infrastructure performance optimization.
ERP Systems & Business Applications

Support and optimize ERP systems, including Oracle e-Business Suite or similar enterprise platforms.

Serve as the site liaison for ERP, MES, collaboration platforms, and enterprise business applications.

Coordinate with global IT teams and business stakeholders for issue resolution and system enhancements.

Ensure integration between site systems and enterprise platforms.

Lead ERP upgrades, integrations, testing, implementation projects, and user adoption initiatives.

Ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and business process efficiency.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management

Enforce corporate cybersecurity standards and security best practices at the site level.

Ensure compliance with security policies, audits, SOX requirements, and regulatory standards.

Manage endpoint protection, patching compliance, access controls, and vulnerability remediation.

Participate in incident response, disaster recovery testing, and operational resilience planning.

Promote cybersecurity awareness and training among site employees.
Business Partnership & Strategic Alignment

Act as a trusted advisor to site leadership and cross-functional business partners.

Align IT initiatives with operational, manufacturing, engineering, and business objectives.

Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and digital transformation.

Support production continuity, operational resilience, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Contribute to IT budgeting, cost optimization, and technology planning.

Collaborate with executive leadership to align technology strategy with organizational goals.
Vendor, Asset & Project Management

Manage local IT vendors, service providers, telecom contracts, and technology procurement.

Oversee asset inventory, lifecycle management, and cost-effective procurement practices.

Lead or support infrastructure upgrades, implementation projects, and strategic technology initiatives.

Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with corporate and central IT teams.

Develop and maintain IT policies, standards, and documentation.
Leadership & Team Management

Lead, mentor, and develop site IT personnel and external support resources.
