Lead Mammography Tech

 

 We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to fulfill the role of Lead Mammography Tech. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to lead and manage comprehensive patient care within the Imaging Services departments, utilizing evidence-based practices and research. The role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to enhance patient care quality by aligning patient needs with department resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical care to patients from various specialties and manage complex diagnoses.
  • Monitor and ensure high-quality patient care by adhering to interdepartmental and hospital policies.
  • Coordinate operations and provide professional leadership while maintaining quality standards.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills, holding staff accountable for customer service, risk reduction, and process improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT).
  • Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).
  • Registered Mammography Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-M).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an acute care hospital or ambulatory setting.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with every fourth Saturday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
