Marketing & Business Development Coordinator
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social Media & Digital Marketing:

Manage the firm's LinkedIn presence and other social media platforms.

Draft, schedule, and publish content highlighting firm news, attorney accomplishments, events, sponsorships, community involvement, recruiting initiatives, and firm culture.

Create engaging social media content that supports the firm's external brand and employer brand.
-
Maintain a social media content calendar and identify opportunities for consistent, relevant posting.
-
Monitor social media engagement and recommend strategies to strengthen the firm's online presence.
-
Ensure all digital content is accurate, professional, and aligned with the firm's branding and communication standards.
Marketing Materials & Business Development:
-
Create, update, and maintain firm marketing collateral, including brochures, attorney biographies, practice descriptions, one-page handouts, newsletters, client communications, sponsorship advertisements, recruiting materials, and event collateral.

Ensure all marketing materials remain current, accurate, visually professional, and consistent with firm branding.
-
Coordinate with attorneys, administrative staff, outside vendors, photographers, and printers to produce marketing materials.

Maintain organized files, templates, and archives of marketing collateral for future use.
Rankings, Awards & Proposal Management:

Coordinate submissions for legal rankings, attorney awards, industry recognitions, and related publications.

Maintain submission calendars and monitor deadlines for rankings and awards.
-
Gather information from attorneys and firm leadership to prepare submission materials.
-
Draft, edit, organize, and proofread submissions to ensure quality and accuracy.

Manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs), client questionnaires, and proposal submissions from initiation through completion.
-
Develop proposal timelines, coordinate content collection, monitor deadlines, and ensure timely submissions.
-
Maintain proposal templates, standard language, prior responses, and reusable content for future business development opportunities.
Events, Communications & Employer Branding:

Support attorneys and firm leadership with marketing initiatives related to conferences, sponsorships, speaking engagements, professional associations, and firm events.

Coordinate invitations, advertisements, sponsorship deliverables, attendee lists, follow-up communications, and related social media content.
-
Create and update website content, including attorney biographies, firm announcements, recognitions, news items, and event information.
-
Draft and edit internal communications and marketing copy while maintaining consistency across all communication channels.
-
Develop content that promotes the firm's culture, recruiting initiatives, community involvement, career opportunities, and employer brand.

Identify opportunities to strengthen the firm's reputation through website improvements, attorney spotlights, culture-focused content, and strategic communications.
Additional Responsibilities:

Bring innovative ideas to support business development and firm growth initiatives.

Identify trends and opportunities within legal marketing and business development.

Take ownership of projects from planning through execution.

Collaborate directly with firm leadership on strategic marketing initiatives.
-
Maintain organized marketing files and project documentation.

Perform additional duties and assignments as required to support business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or a related field required.

Experience in marketing, communications, social media, business development, or a related role required.

Strong experience managing LinkedIn and other social media platforms.

Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.

Ability to create professional, polished, and engaging marketing content.
-
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
-
High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to build effective working relationships with attorneys, firm leadership, staff, vendors, and external organizations.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, website content management systems (CMS), social media scheduling platforms, and other marketing technologies preferred.

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
